In this course, we will investigate three main respiratory diseases; asthma, pneumonia and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease which is abbreviated COPD. With good assessment skills, a firm knowledge base, and a well thought out action plan these diseases can be prevented and/or effectively managed. Educating yourself and spreading knowledge to others will move society to greater and greater levels of health and wellness.

This course informs providers with an overview and explanation of the Treatment Integrity Check form utilized with providers implementing Early Childhood Habilitation Services.  This course will provide explanations on what a Treatment Integrity (TI) check is, how it is utilized to increase job performance, how Treatment Integrity (TI) checks are scored, and what providers can expect during a Treatment Integrity (TI) check.  This course is specifically designed for ECA providers.

This course focuses on understanding the stages of Alzheimer’s disease. Participants will learn positive communication techniques that allow caregivers to respond with more flexibility and consideration. Other topics include information on meeting the personal care and emotional needs of members.
