    • Alison Pattison Instructor

      Alison Pattison, Ed.D., is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Arizona Provider Training (APT). APT is the largest training organization in Arizona- providing first-class education and training to caregivers who serve the I/DD community. Alison has focused her passion for teaching and learning for over 25 years to author and develop over 200 online and in-person courses that maximize adult learning. Her background includes fifteen years of teaching and counseling at the elementary and high school levels in both Arizona and Louisiana. Since 2003, Alison has served as a faculty member at various universities including Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University, Louisiana State University, and Grand Canyon University. Alison currently serves as doctoral faculty at GCU and is a Senior Doctoral Dissertation Chair. She also teaches graduate classes in the College of Education at GCU. Alison serves as Co-Chair of the DCW Alliance Executive Committee and Chair of the DCW Curriculum Committee. Her educational background include a Doctorate in Education: Organizational Leadership, a Master’s degree in Education: School Counseling, and a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.

      Angelina Munoz is from Phoenix, Arizona. I am a mother of four and Nana to One grandbaby who is Five years old. I been in the childcare field for 13 years teaching Preschool ages 3-5. I have also been a provider for children with disabilities. I teach DCW, CPR/FA, and Preventing Abuse Neglect and Exploitation. In my free time I like to do yoga and spend time with my family.

      Annaly Garcia was born and raised in California and moved to Arizona with family. Annaly enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family. She has worked as a camp counselor, and a counselor in a youth shelter. She loves helping people and is excited to meet you in one of her classes. Annaly teaches in both English and Spanish.

      Ashleigh has a big passion for making a difference in people's lives. She provides Respite, Habilitation and Attendant care. She has a big heart and loves to teach others why their job is so important to the people they support. Ashleigh teaches Article 9, Recognizing Abuse and Neglect, DCW, and CPR/AED Basic First Aid.

      Berenisse Molinar was born and raised in Glendale, AZ. She has provided ECH (Habilitation, Early Childhood Autism Specialized), Habilitation, Attendant Care, and Respite since 2015. She became a trainer in 2017, teaching Article 9, CPR/First Aid, and all modules of DCW. She is a bilingual trainer but primarily teaches in Spanish. Berenisse is a trainer at Central, Goodyear, Deer Valley and Chandler. She enjoys helping, interacting and teaching people.

      Breya is currently attending Western New Mexico University and majoring in Kinesiology. She works with all the sports teams on and off the field. She is a Mommy to her son and loves spending time with him and her family. Breya teaches Article 9, CPR/AED Basic First Aid, BLS CPR/FA and Recognizing and Reporting Abuse and Neglect.

      Caitlin Sanchez is currently working on her bachelor's of nursing through GCU. She is very excited to graduate in 2023! But is totally ready to hit the hospital running. Previously worked as an EMT and she is ready to get back into the ER after graduating. If you see her in a long sleeve and pants it is probably because she has not updated her wardrobe after moving here from Colorado. But don't be alarmed by the numerous cups of coffee on her desk, regardless of the day, she is probably just recovering from late night's studying. Caitlin is teaching CPR/AED Basic First Aid, DCW and Article 9. She is looking forward to seeing you in class!

      Cathy is a certified trainer, teacher, and nutrition consultant. ASU is her Alma mater where she earned a BA in Education with an emphasis in Learning and Emotional Disabilities. During her career she worked in Behavior Heath supporting individuals with nutrition, diagnosis understanding and coping skills. Although she comes with decades of teaching experience in a variety of venues, she feels that her passion to guide, help and encourage others on their journey is her life goal. Recently her and her family moved to Prescott to enjoy its beautiful surroundings and outdoor lifestyle. Cathy will be a trainer for both the Prescott Center as well as Cottonwood.

    • Chisom Amete Instructor

      Chisom currently works as a respite and attendant care caregiver with a home health agency. She is originally from the Bay Area in California but moved to Arizona in order to pursue a bachelor's of science in nursing at Chamberlain University. Chisom has love for teaching and has around three years of experience with private tutoring as well as experience volunteering for non profit organizations that provide tutoring and homework help to struggling students. She enjoys passing knowledge onto others and believes that she can learn just as much from the student as they can learn from her.

      Cindhy Cabrera was born and raised in Mexico. Cindhy’s background is being a childcare director, preschool teacher, paraprofessional at elementary schools, supervisor at inpatient behavioral health facilities, behavioral health respite coordinator, and SpED self-contained classroom teacher’s assistant. Cindhy is currently a trainer for APT and teaches CPR & First Aid, Preventing Abuse & Neglect, and Direct Care Worker courses. Cindhy is a wife and a mother of two. Cindhy loves baking with her family during her spare time.

      Cintya is a graduate of California State University of Long Beach. She graduated with her B.S., in Family and Consumer Sciences in 2018 and has been working with children and adults with Developmental Disabilities for the past 2 years. Cintya is a certified instructor in the state of Arizona and can teach; Article 9, CPR/First Aid and Direct Care Worker courses and Prevention of Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation to any individual(s) who are interested in becoming caregivers for children and adults with Developmental Disabilities. Her Passion is advocating for what’s right, and to help create a world where others do the right thing as well. This is her second year at APT and she hopes for a fulfilling career in higher education. She is looking forward building lifetime relationships with students, families, and staff.

      Jennifer has been a habilitation and respite provider since 2009. She is a registered dietitian and has worked for Maricopa County Department of Public Health as a registered dietician and a community nutrition educator. Jennifer has a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition-Dietetics from Arizona State University and is currently working on her master's degree in Leadership at Grand Canyon University. Jennifer will be teaching article 9, CPR/FA, and DCW.

She is currently a full time-student at Grand Canyon University attending Colangelo College of Business. Maritza's super excited to see you in class.       Michelle is our trainer in Show Low. She has lived in the White Mountains her entire life. She has been a District Director and worked for DDD (Division of Developmental Disabilities). As for training,she has been teaching for the past 17 years including Article 9, CPR/FA, Prevention and Support, Med Administration, Incident Reporting, and more. She loves spending time outside with her grandchildren.

      Monica Martinek has been a CPR/AED & First Aid Instructor since 2013. She graduated from ASU with a Bachelors in Science in Kinesiology and a Masters in Leadership and Management with a concentration in Sports Management from ESU. Monica has a passion for teaching, so you will have a great time learning in her classes whether this is your first or fiftieth CPR class.

      Roxann is a CPR and First Aid trainer for APT and has been an instructor for two years.  Additionally, she has worked in the DD field for over ten years.  She is the mom of two teenagers and likes movies, water activities, and animals.

      Stephanie Brown was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. She has been a trainer for many years. She is also a state lead trainer for Article 9 and Prevention and Support. In 2019, she completed her RBT courses, and is now a licensed Registered Behavior Technician. Stephanie is a wife of over 20 years, a mom of 6, a Nana of 3 grandbabies, and she loves spending time with them! Stephanie teaches Article 9, Prevention and Support, CPR, First Aid, Recognizing and Reporting Abuse and Neglect, CPI, and BLS CPR/FA.

      Stephanie is also our Director of Instruction.

      Terry moved to North Phoenix in 2020 from NW Minnesota where he managed the Ambulance Service and taught EMS, CPR, FIRST AID as well as worked as an EMT for over 26 years. Terry also was Chairman of the Board for 9 years with Greater NW EMS which supported and taught EMS to local Fire, Ambulance, and Law Enforcement in the surrounding 13 counties. Terry loves to teach from experience. He has 3 daughters and 8 grandchildren that he loves to spend time with. Terry teaches CPR/AED, FIRST AID, Recognizing Abuse and Neglect, and DCW testing for APT.

      Yttzha Moreno was born and raised in Douglas, Az. She has been a bilingual trainer since January 2022, teaching DCW(all modules), CPR, First Aid. She enjoyed working as an ATC, habilitation, and respite provider for 4 years. Another love of Yttzha's is makeup. She has been a Makeup Artist since 2019. Yttzha is a wife and a mom of 1 and loves spending time with her family.
